Managing Payroll has always been a challenging and time-consuming task. With cloud payroll system integrated with time attendance system, you can manage your company payroll in a more efficient way; with just a click. Once the payroll is generated, every employee will be able to see their payslip, tax payable, insurance, provident fund etc. This will ensure swift communication regarding payroll in the company.
Define Entitlements and Deductions
First of all, you need to define different types of entitlements of the employees. The entitlements could be Basic Salary, Allowance, Provident Fund, Medical Facilities etc. Further, you need to define different types of deductions such as Advance Salary, Salary Tax, Social Security Fund etc.
Define Salary for each employee
Next, you have to define the salary of every individual employee. The employees could be working full time, part-time, contract basis, daily basis, hourly basis etc. You have to set the salary effective date, different kinds of entitlements and deductions applicable, Provident fund, etc. You can just import the salary structure of all the employees at one go.
Monthly Payroll Generation
You can generate payroll of your employees for a given month. Once the payroll is generated it needs to be approved. Once it is approved, employees will be able to view how much they are paid, their deduction, the taxes paid and other details about their monthly income. The system also generates the tax based on Nepal Government Rule.
When the payroll is generated, you can send bank advice to the bank to deposit salary in the employees’ accounts. Here, you can customize the letter you need to send to the bank as per your requirement. You can make a template for each of your branches, as the bank may be different for each of your branch.
The employees will be able to see the salary they have earned, the provident fund, Tax, other deductions and more online.
You can record the advance salary provided to employees and set deduction schedule on a monthly basis. While generating salary sheet, the system deducts the advance salary as per the setting.
Adjustable payroll month
You can set up your payroll month as per your need. For example, you can set the Day 25 of this month to Day 24 of next month as your payroll month.
Payroll Generation based on BS or AD
You can set up your payroll year and month. Either you can choose BS or AD for your payroll generation.
Advance setting for Payroll
You can set different settings as per your company policy. This setting can be applied to the entire company, a particular branch, a department or an employee. The following are a few examples;
- Adjust Overtime Rate (for eg, provide 1.5 times of regular pay) for working day or for a non-working day
- Calculate Overtime only after an employee has worked for specified hours than regular office hours
- Count absent if late for specified hours
- Define whether to deduct salary for absent days
- Define whether to deduct salary for insufficient worked hours
- Define whether to deduct salary for leaving the office early
Customized as per Nepal Government Rules
Based upon Nepal Government rule, tax is automatically set by the system for every year.
Tax Payable report
The system generates Income Tax payable report for each employee and each month. This helps manage salary tax for each month. Further, you can export the Remuneration Income Tax and Social Security Tax to excel and upload this file as your tax filing in https://ird.gov.np/.
The system generates CIT Report report for each employee and each month. This helps you to submit your monthly CIT deposit to CIT. You can directly print letter for CIT from the system and submit to CIT.
Provident Fund Report
The system generates Provident Fund Report of each employee for each month as well as for all the employees. This helps to deposit Provident Fund amount in Employee Provident Fund. You can directly print letter for EPF from the system and submit to EPF.
